Chapter one - Fear

One day a young man woke up to find himself in a totally different place, not in his bed room where he went to bed at night but somewhere completely different. A room with white background everywhere, it felt different almost as if he was still dreaming. His bed was all that was present in this big empty space just filled with white nothing else. It felt like space but instead of having a black background like we see in the movies everywhere was white. 

The young man in shock and fear sits on his bed scared as he looks around, he is terrified of   get off his bed because of the fear of falling. He starts breathing heavy as reality begins to dawn on him slowly, he felt he was in a prison and suddenly it felt like there were a million eyes watching him but he couldn’t see anyone it was just this white empty space. He lies down on his bed and closes his eyes thinking he must be in a dream after a few seconds he opens one of his eyes hoping it would be his small smelly room he sees but no it wasn’t. He quickly opens both eyes after hearing what appeared to be an adult male’s voice; he stands on his bed and looks around. “Is anyone here” he asks but there is no response just an echo of his voice. Suddenly he hears a female laughing from a distance, briefly then the voice evaporates into space. He is confused and scared, sweating on his face and armpit, he soon realises he is wearing a different shirt from what he wore before going to be, “is anyone there” he screams repeatedly but there is no response. He begins to cry as different thoughts run through his mind, he looks lost. 

Couple of minutes later he gathers some courage and makes an attempt to get off the bed, scared not knowing what will happen, he moves slowly and carefully dropping his right foot to the ground, as soon as his foot touch the ground there is a loud sound like that of a big church bell. Scared he puts his leg back on the bed and covers his whole body with the blanket, his shakes uncontrollable underneath as he had never experienced this kind of fear in his life; the sound of his heavy breathing is all that is heard in the quiet mostly empty space. There is a sound of a door being opened slowly the door sounds like the hinges need grease then the door is shut. Gbam!!! The young man pulls the blanket below his eyes to take a look at whom or what just entered, but there is nobody there just a door a red door which wasn’t present before like the door appeared from nowhere. He covers his face as he sees this strange looking door, once again he begins to hear the young lady laugh but this time around she is laughing with a man, they both laugh continuously and their tone increases with time. The young man terrified pulls the blanket down again and takes a look around but there’s nobody just the red door, the sound of the laughter starts getting closer to the bed, but still he is the only one present in the room. He gathers all the courage he has and puts his left foot on the ground as soon as his foot touches the ground the bell starts ringing again mixed with the laughter. 

He is sweaty, breathing heavily and looks terrified he takes another look around and shouts “what do you want from me” then the laughter stops but the bells still rings. He looks at the door after hearing some kind of sound coming from the other side and sees a moving shadow quickly as if it where the shadow of a man. He puts his right foot to the ground and has his feet on the ground the bell stops ringing and everywhere is back to being quiet, he makes a move for it heading towards the door not wasting anytime he looks around the space to see if there is anyone around, as he gets to the door he tries to open it but it seems locked, he knocks on the door and screams for help, the laughter starts again louder than before and as he turns around the bed is gone the whole place is empty. He turns to the door and tries to open it kicking and hitting, screaming at the top of his voice as tears drop from his eyes. 

The laughter continues for a few more seconds then stops as there is a sound of the door unlocking from the other side, he pauses for a few seconds looks back and makes another attempt on opening the door. The door opens this time around to more white space, there is shock on his face but not for long as the entire white space is covered in darkness in just a few seconds, the young man screams as he is put in total darkness.
