Chapter 6 Let there be light

Its morning  8am the dining table in seguns house is covered with food, breakfast there is cereal, fruits, eggs, bacon and the rest, it’s a complete breakfast. Segun is in the kitchen doing some frying, his mum enters the dinning and is surprised to see all the food on the table she looks confused as she makes her way to the kitchen, she opens the door and sees segun cooking. “segun” she calls out, he turns and looks at her, for some seconds he looks shocked like he was remembering the stabbing incident, “are you ok dear” she asks him “morning mom” he replied “just wanted to treat everybody today”  he says, his mum smiles at him as he continues with the cooking. 

Some minute later his family, mum, dad, brother and sister are all on the table eating the delicious breakfast which segun had made, he walks into the dinning with a plate of pan cakes to everyone’s surprise, they are all shocked by seguns sudden change in behavior  His sister and brother both tease him on how nice he is being which make his parents laugh and the whole room has a happy vibe.

Some hour’s later segun and linda are in his car driving out of the compound as he drives out of the gate he slams the breaks immediately as there is a black jeep speeding down the road passing the front of seguns house. The jeep swerves a bit in order to avoid hitting seguns car, “that was a close one” segun says as he takes a deep breath, linda curses at the driver of the jeep. 

The man driving the jeep looks back at seguns car then turns and faces the road the driver is the man dressed as the traffic warden in the elevator, the plate number of the car is DT 330 ANG. Segun calms linda down and tells her to stop cursing, she looks at him surprised as if he was someone different, he drives out of the compound after checking to see there are no cars coming down the road this time around, as the car goes down the road “you seem different” lindas says “yea, I feel different” he replies, as they drive off.
